Residence Inn Sacramento Folsom

This stay was beyond disappointing. I accidentally left my Stanley cup in our room at the Residence Inn, and when I called shortly after checkout, I was met with excuses instead of help. I was told it likely wasn’t turned in because they’re “short staffed.” Since when does being understaffed justify stealing a guest’s belongings? The front desk staff was completely unhelpful and refused to check the employee area, which is right next to the room we stayed in. She made no effort to actually assist — just passed blame and brushed me off. This isn’t the first sign of dishonest behavior from the staff. While we were there, we were told our room had been cleaned on Saturday — it absolutely had not. I had to personally go down to the front desk to request fresh towels, coffee, creamer, and other basic essentials because nothing was restocked. They flat-out lied about providing service. This place clearly has issues with accountability, poor housekeeping, and staff dishonesty. If something goes missing, don’t expect support — just excuses. I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties and never had an experience like this. I won’t be returning to this location, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Overall was a good stay, hot tub had way too much chemicals and lady working breakfast was far from friendly.

Doggies barking woke us up…pillows were flat, mattress too firm

we were told we would have a 1 o’clock early check-in and when we got there, we had to wait two hours for check-in. Other than that, it was amazing.

Nice big room and they accommodated us when we didn’t get a pull out bed.

Hotel was very well kept up!!!

Liked the location.

Lighting in the dressing area was too dim.

Stayed 6 days. No housekeeping. Being a marriott member, was supposed to only have to pay 3 nights parking. Instead was charged for all nights. Otherwise, room was nice.
