Red Lion Inn & Suites Junction City

Quiet even though very close to I-70.

The bed was nice, but the hotel needs a lot of work. No ice machine and the laundry room is closed. The breakfast was poorly stocked. The place looks like it is on the verge of going bankrupt.

The room was clean but the AC thermostat was broken. It was working and we had no problem but could not control the temperature much.

Ants in the room, terrible smell, sink didn’t work.

The sign that is supposed to say "Deluxe Inn & Suites" is no where to be found, had to circle a couple times to find it. Had to get a new key card every night which was fine because of security reasons, quite annoying. Stains on the carpet were a bit weird but nothing too terrible. Shower needs some deep clean but is clean enough for a quick rinse. Bed was very comfy and AC worked great.

The Room wasn't what was advertised. It was unclean and duct tape on refrigerator. Bathroom faucet didn't work. I notified front desk, wasn't staying and left.One more important issue was the billboard for this hotel was covered with another hotel logo, that was one of the confusion of locations of hotel.

The staff was great by greeting my car as I was not sure I had driven up to a closed property. They upgraded me at no charge so my lame legs did not have to climb steps. They need to do 5 hours of basic, free landscaping - get rid of weeds, plant a few flowers, etc. The room was immaculate, though old. The bed was comfortable. Some things were old. THE ROOM FRIDGE WAS GREAT - unlike fancier hotels, it was big and had a freezer section.

Was decent, not great. Had left over grafitti (small writings) in different parts of the room I stayed in. Shower was clean but not overly nice or new. Bed was clean and sheets fresh.
