Air China Boyue Beijing Hotel

Service, cleanliness and amenities excellent, but hot stuffy throughout. Aircon not allowed by government before May so rooms unpleasantly hot and stuffy March/April, was given a fan but pretty useless. Tiny opening window ineffective. Pleasure to get out the building into the cool fresh air in the morning. Probably all right after May when aircon is allowed, staff very nice, nice cool pool (essential to cool down), spotlessly clean, excellent food buffets but will only rate as 4 due to the ventilation problem. I think Radisson new what they were doing when they sold this to the Bayou group as it has a major design fault with the ventilation

Based on previous reviews we selected this hotel. Great choice! The buffet was very tasty which included a bit of Chinese cuisine, and western flair. The staff from the restaurant to the front desk, and room attendees were very polite and helpful. Very pleasant attitude. Front desk and a few in the restaurant spoke good English. The hotel location was good, very convenient to restaurants and convenience stores, shops. It sits well enough off the street (very safe for entering and exiting purposes) on an angle. So the taxi can pull up to the front entrance with the front entrance being about 60 or 70 or so from the street level. Rooms were very clean and nice sizes. We had 2 beds - I think one queen and one double for our 5 yr old. Well worth the stay for the price.

Excellent experience, we stayed in a room with access to the club lounge, so the breakfast was included, good food, you could choose from french toast to fried rice, what we really enjoyed was the cocktail hours in the evening, you could have wine or you could even fix your own martini!

We had to go to the US embassy for visa services. Was within easy walking distance (10 minutes). Area is fine for food and a little shopping. Be sure to explore the Lady Street market.

Very confortable and a good location

We had a great stay at hotel, the staff really were so wonderful, there was never anything too hard for them. The restaurant was not very good, the food was overpriced, service very slow. The rooms were very clean and only complaint was that they were a bit small. Hotel central and nice

Overall pleasant. Convenient location near Metro and Embassy district

Didn't stay in the room all that much so the smell wasn't a show-stopper but was just concerned about the air quality... other than that it's not bad given the price range.
