The rooms are surprisingly nice compared to the outside conditions. It is overpriced but is the only motel in Kemptville so leaves little choice. I was not pleased with having to pay a $300 security deposit.

We were somewhat disappointed in the exterior condition of the facility. The roof almost appeared ready to cave in. There were a number of people just hanging around the entrance which made us nervous. Once we were inside I felt a little more comfortable, but I was worried about my vehicleall night.

"Back Again"

Stayed here before, found it very good so booked again. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. Booked in fine and went to room but could not get in. Went back to reception and they had not programmed the keys so sorted it. There was no creamer and spoon packs for the coffee but after the key issue did not go back again but left it till morning. In the morning asked about the coffee creamer etc and was informed that Best Western had decide to remove them. That’s a backward step for sure as I like a coffee first thing as I get up. The second day the door keys would not work again so off to reception to be programmed, guess someone missed this both days. The room was the same one as last time, maybe they remembered, nice big and comfortable, bathroom fine too. Breakfast was good with bacon and egg muffins, breads, cereal, muffins, yogurt, fruit and juices. So, noting the first paragraph I still recommend this Best Western and would return no problem. Many thanks.
