The Signature Level at Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa

Lovely, hotel, helpful, friendly staff, great food and atmosphere, didn't want to leave! We chose signature level and it was well worth it. The exclusive areas are calm, lovely spots ensuring relaxation. The drinks menu was varied and of good quality. We tried a couple of trips out. Cefalu is lovely and well worth a visit and Palermo is a vibrant city full of art and culture. Would highly recommend.

L’hôtel est paradisiaque, les animateurs sont très sympa, l’ensemble du personnel très accueillant. Malgré un petit quiproquo lors d’un dîner (entraînant un supplément de prix, pourtant formule all inclusive + signature level (premium)), Khalil nous a fait un très bon geste sur ce repas lors du check out. Il parle d’ailleurs très bien français ce qui facilite les échanges. La chambre est spacieuse, et joliment décorée, nous avons pris un bungalow.

La réservation pour les restaurants : dès notre arrivée tous les restaurants étaient déjà complet jusqu’à notre départ. La signature level devrait permettre une réservation prioritaire sur les autres tarifs standard. Ils fonctionnent ensuite par liste d’attente. Vous aurez peut être de la chance, tout comme nous, si un désistement arrive.

Well kept grounds, The Signature Level area of the resort was calm and secluded. The separate checkin area was welcome. Have a separate breakfast area was a huge benefit. Cocktails were lovely and the Spa/Hydrotherapy/ sun terrace were amazing.

It was difficult to procure restaurant reservations although the concierge was very helpful and we were able to eat at the Thai and steak restaurant on our three night stay. Food was not fantastic, but it was very good especially for all inclusive. The Portofino for lunch does have a separate Signature Level dining area, but we were never able to order ala carte. We just aren’t buffet people.

The grounds of the hotel are really nice, Lots of greenery. The staff are well trained and professional. We upgraded to Signature level which we assumed was even better. The room was basic. Its like a premier inn size. Nice little patio outside. No dressing table, cheap plastic kettle, surely this should be a coffee machince. One chair. No plug socket at the mirror for drying hair. Good air conditioning. The huge dining area at lunch was a nighmare. Screaming children, so much noise. The food was good if you were a meat eater but it was pizza and chips for veggies. I couldn't risk the salad or cheese as there were quite a few flys. The breakfast area for Signature level guests is nice. There should be a lunch for this level as well. We had out one a la carte meal. We chose the Pizza Place, Portofino. Again just a basic pizza for veggies. My pizza arrived and it was luke warm. I ate about a quarter before I couldn't eat any more. The signature level pool is lovely but there is a notice stating a 30 minute rule regarding towels on sunbeds. We asked the pool attendant if it was ok for us to leave our towel and go for lunch on the first day and he agreed, So the second day we came back and our towel and bag was removed. Anyone could have come and claimed our bag. We didn't go to the entertainment so not sure what it was like. The beach was not nice. Sunbeds were dirty.

I liked their hotel’s luxury. Only thing is that.

I dont like the sea, ı payed 2x money for signature level but ı couldnt use anythink about it. they said me all exclusive Restaurant’s are full , you can only go hamam but not make massage , they serve me exclusive restaurants very little and a few meals and not cooked meals for dinner. If ı gave them only grand pallasium price its more usefull for that.

Had a short stay this week. First impressions are very grand. The reality was less inspiring. The Signature Level accommodation was a disappointment having a patio view of a fence and window view of the main hotel dispite requesting a view prior to arrival. Food was really good with plenty of choice and a good variety of restaurants. We did find that the 'speciality' resturants are booked up quickly and you are not able to book ahead of your trip apparently. Was surprised to find that quite a few dishes carried an extra charge dispite being AI a smash burger is included but an Angus burger is 34€ extra! Entertainment was mediocre as was the beach. Overall I noticed that the staff although being professional and polite never stood out for that 'extra' service to enhance our stay. In my opinion I don't consider this Hotel to be a 5 star I saw nothing that made it any better than many 4 star places we have stayed in and worse for views and entertainment that a lot of their competitors. Fortunately we only had a short stay and that was enough. We plan to revisit Sicilly in the future but somewhere closer to Palmerno airport as a 2 hour coach transfer was taxing and unfortunately wasn't worth the effort.

We were expecting more special treatment and services. We knew it was family friendly but was expecting adults only areas, adults area for dining.. Breakfast area in the Chang Ti was amazing, the other restaurants were awful.

We stayed for 10 nights as a family of 3, 2 adults and a teenager in a signature level suite. We have stayed at Grand Palladium hotels before so knew what to expect (hopefully although were a bit worried based on some reviews). We flew into Catania and this is a very very long transfer to the hotel 3 hours due to some road works, 2 hours normally. So be prepared for that or fly into Palermo instead. On arrival we were whisked by buggy straight to signature check in and received a warm welcome. The suite was smaller than we hoped for, once the sofa bed was set up the loving room is totally full so in hindsight we should have booked interconnecting rooms although not sure that is available on the signature side. One of the reasons we booked this room type was because it said they had a large balcony with sunloungers on. No loungers on ours and none provided either when we asked. The listing for this needs amending as is misleading. We took advice of other reviews and literally as soon as we knew our room number used the app to reserve the speciality restaurants, we had evening meals at Portofino twice, El Dorado and Chang Thai once each which for a 10 night stay wasn't too bad but at other Grand Palladium we have stayed at such as the Lady Hamilton you can go every night to the speciality restaurants if you wanted, they just give you a pager and ping when your table is ready. El Dorado only opens 3 days a week and Chang Thai 4 days, I feel they should be open more days to ensure guests get to use them more if they wish. The food and drinks at this hotel are excellent although that is to be expected for the price being paid to stay. You can download the Grand Palladium app at home and explore the hotel and its food and drinks menus before you go. I recommend doing this as otherwise you are constantly having to scan QR codes for menus whilst there which is a bit annoying when on holiday I try to get away from my phone! Every brand premium spirits you could want are included. Excellent Italian beers, Peroni is on draft but if you want Nasturo Azzuro ask for that not Peroni otherwise you will get their standard. The Messina bottled beer is excellent. The grillo white wine was not to my taste, ask for the Bianco blended if you like a pinot grigio. It was the busiest time of the year overall when we stayed over the Ferragostu holiday and we always managed to get sunloungers although if you wanted them around the signature pool you needed to be down around 9am :(. There is a no reservation policy but this isn't actively enforced, only if you ask the lifeguard they then remove other people's towels. Really not acceptable at a 5 star hotel. We used the shuttle for a day trip to Palermo, its a very long day and the coach was awful it seemed to have more seats fitted in than is standard for a coach and none of us could sit facung forwards normally in the seat literally our thighs were too long! I'm only 5ft 6 lol . Visited Cefalu via booking a private taxi each way which was 40 euro and much better. My son made good use of the gym, using it twice a day for his training and he said it was quite well equipped although it desperately needs air con. Beach shoes are a must, the sea is lovely for a swim and the loungers down in the beach area get more of a breeze than round the signature pool. Being the busiest time of year we were not allowed to keep our room on for a late flight but we're given a 30 min slot in a courtesy room which was just about adequate. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming, extremely hard working and are an asset to the hotel. If you want something or are unsure, just ask!

The vaccation at Palladium Sicily was my best. The arrival at signature reception with welcome drink - I felt welcomen. The room was great - spatious, pleasant colours. Daily drinks. Nice bathroom. Remarkable balcony with a pool view. The restaurants with delicious food and drinks and especially very nice stuff - I did not meet any non-friendly person. The stuff made great atmosphere, especially Hanin, Michele Alessandra, Carmello, Christina, Denise, Giovanni, Viola. Then there was entertainment team with the activities that I enjoyed very much (wish there were more of them...) like stretching with Arifet, petanque and darts with Francesco, dancing with Marta and Noemi, aquagym and stretching with Jawhar, aquazumba, drumfit with Zidane, delicious Sicilian pastry day.. I enjoyed evening programme, mainly the Sicilian evening was very beautiful. The pools and gardens were beautiful. The one thing that I heard lots of people complain and it is true - is not the best beach - there were so many stones, rocks, it was difficult to go to the sea, only few days I saw a wooden molo set for clients to go to the sea. Unfortunately the weather made bigger waves... The departure was terrible - but in the means that I was sad to leave because I enjoyed the stay a lot. One really kind and nice receptionist - Khalil made the departure better, he was also nice other days, really helpful and motivating. Palladium hotel eith beautiful places, wonderful people made a great positive energy and a pleasant wondeful vaccation. Thank you very much!
