Baymont by Wyndham Lawrenceburg

This by far is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I chose this hotel when visiting Indiana due to the Wyndham name associated with. Upon arrival, I immediately was suspect of the quality of the hotel. This was the worst hotel stay experience. As soon as I arrived at this hotel I became worried. I booked this hotel due the Wyndham name attached to it. My previous experiences staying at Wyndham hotels were always great experiences. Upon entering my assigned room, I was hit with an unknown foul odor which remained during my short stay. The room was in disrepair and dated, there was mold present on the shower curtain, and the entire hotel is urgently in need of renovation. The final straw for me was was I attempted eat breakfast the next morning. I poured a bowl of cereal form their continental breakfast area and used their milk. Upon taking a bite, I almost threw up due to the milk being spoiled. As a result, I checked out of the hotel and stayed at another facility for the remainder of my stay. This hotel accused me of lying about their food and accused me of “screaming” at their staff which was untrue. The management would not authorize a refund for the three nights I did not stay the remaining nights I paid for but did not use. I’m sure why Wyndham hotels name is associated with this hotel, but beware, it certainly is not Wyndham quality!

The staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was simple but good.

Motel sits on a very busy highway, so you can hear traffic all night.

Not as advertised. There were no plastic cups in the room. There was no coffee in the room. There was no refrigerator in the room.

Very clean! Didn’t have that “musky hotel” smell that most hotels have. Staff was also great! Perfect stay for families and or, solo.

Location was close to venue we were attending

The hotel wreaked of pot. The hotel lobby was dirty, and the hallways were filthy. The room was actually clean, but needs work. The bathroom had mud from the ceiling spattered all over it. The carpet was peeling up and off the wall. The pictures were hung 1 foot below the ceiling. If you were a 7 ft tall person you might be able to see them straight on. The night clerk was Awesome! And I wouldn't let my dogs eat off the breakfast bar. The food looked old and moldy. And the area was filthy. This hotel needs a serious cleaning and to be updated. Oh, and my husband swears that there are prostitutes working out of the hotel. I feel like a refund is in order but I won't ask. They should offer. I work hard for my money. And I feel like I just threw it in the garbage after staying here.
