"Herrliche Lage unterhalb des Castel del Montes."

Die Lage unterhalb des Castel del Montes ist außergewöhnlich schön. Allerdings waren wir Mitte/Ende Mai dort, also in der Vor-oder Zwischensaison. Da war in der Anlage noch nichts los. Das Restaurant war noch geschlossen und Personal haben wir kaum gesehen. Zum Essen muss man dann nach Andria fahren, also etwas weiter weg. Alternativ hat man uns freundlicherweise eine Art Tapas/Antipasti Zusammenstellung angeboten.

Das italienische Frühstück ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Übernachtungskosten von 150 Euro für ein Doppelzimmer fanden wir überzogen.

Saubere Anlage

Hotelangaben nicht korrekt: kein Restaurantbetrieb abends ("da keine Saison") Es war Ende April! Das erfuhren wir erst vor Ort; keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in erreichbarer Nähe; so nahmen wir gezwungenermaßen das Angebot eines kleinen überteuerten Schinken-Käsetellers an. Keine Möglichkeit Tee-Kaffee selbst zuzubereiten. Frühstück minimal mit Kaffee und Tee lauwarm.

Sehr nah bei Castel del Monte - konnten es zu Fuß erreichen. Nettes, hilfsbereites Personal, gutes Essen, Abstellplatz für Fahrräder.
