Heron House Court - Adult Only

By far the staff is what makes this property great. Attentive, friendly, willing to help (within reason), fun to talk to in general. Recommend overall, rooms a bit cramped but the property allows for you to be outside and comfortable in many spots.

I would stay here again

Property was well kept up and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was also kept up but could use some TLC in regards to bathroom sink being clogged and drained slowly, tile on floor in bedroom was loose, I moved a small ottoman to check if a shoe fell behind and found the ottoman was clearly placed there to hide the bad lower wall behind it. The courtyard was lovely, breakfast light and good. Overall a nice place but much more money than we usually would have spent in similar settings.

Very quiet and close to anything you want to eat. Rent bikes, best way to see the town.

I stayed for a couple of nights in a downstairs room. Which was chintzy, dark and a bit depressing. Old building so could hear the folk upstairs. Comfy bed but old saggy pillows and polyester sheets. Smallest tv seen in the last decade! Old aircon unit which was LOUD. Ceiling fan clicks so can’t use that as an alternative And they want a 20$ resort fee! The positives- My room had a newly tiled shower room, with a hot powerful shower. The house has nice courtyards and pool area. I enjoyed the pool. Lots of beautiful fresh cut flowers. Part of the attraction was its suburban location, but walkable to gharish Duval St. There are also some good local eateries in the surrounding streets. The breakfast was good- and served right outside my door… I don’t think it reflects value for money. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t stay again.

Old Florida vibe. Clean. Muliple outdoor areas to relax in.

Charming building with very poor maintain once. There 3 nights with mostly non-functional commode (They said there is another in Employee Storage Room in hallway) Water leaking from sink plumbing out onto the floor and AC on High the whole time but never got cool or caught up. Promises but no performance. Booked and paid in full, in advance (Otherwise would have left) and they still added hundreds in fees even though they did nothing about issues. Would never stay there again or recommend it to others. Staff polite but never did anything they promise

We really enjoyed our stay at Heron House. It offered great value for the quality and location. The staff were all top notch, helpful and friendly. At the front desk, Roman has a perpetual smile on his face and his positive energy is most definitely spread throughout the entire property. I look forward to staying here again the next time I travel to the Keys.

Older Home could use a little updating. Outside area is nice. Upper balcony is great to sit out on at night.
