"Seaside Retreat by exploration activities and fine wine tasting"

Perfect place to use as home base to explore the area. Location on the ocean is a plus, with a boardwalk right across the road. Rooms were well-appointed with great linens. Complimentary cookies were a gourmet delight. Highly recommend!

"Booking difficult"

Have fun booking this place. We tried several times. Website doesn't work very well. We "signed up" but it wouldn't let us log in. Gave up trying to book by phone after 15 minutes. You'd think ease of booking would be a priority...

"An amazing location with amazing views. Needs some touch ups."

The view was breathtaking and the interior was beautiful.

The sliding glass door screen was worn and had a whole at the handle. Someone could come up unlocked it, since any one could walk up to the sliding glass doors from the road. The pull drapes were difficult to slide but manageable. The outside paint of the rooms was flaking and cracking due to weathering.

travel a lot for work and some personal travel. This is the first time I've left a review that is somewhat negative. The property was cute and well located which we enjoyed. Upon entering the room, it initially appeared ok. It wasn't fancy and little dated but sufficient for our needs. Shortly after settling in, I went to pick up something on the floor and then saw dirt, hair and dust between the two beds and not just a little. At this point, I looked around and found the same around the perimeter of the room, windowsill (which also had a dead fly.) At $229 per night plus a $35 fee for our miniature poodle who does not shed, I left feeling like it was overpriced and didn't deliver some very basic expectations. I did mention the dirt and fly when I checked out, and it seemed they didn't really care. I won't return as there are many other options along the same road.
