Booking. Com booked us into a FULL HOTEL WITH NO AVAILABLE ROOMS. Contacting booking.com is impossible.

Being booked into a totally full hotel.

I like the location and the charm of the lobby.

The ac did not cool the room. They wouldn’t change our room. All they could do was loan us a noisy box fan that was loud and kept us awake most of the night.

Loved exploring the historical facility. Found the location convenient to explore the city and surroundings.

Our room, generally adequate, was lacking in expected features like grab bars in the tub, sufficient electrical outlets, bright enough lighting, and upgrades.

You had to park a block away. The bathroom was dirty. You only had hot water or cold from the sink because the faucets don't merge together. Very old musty smell. It is over 100 years old so I can understand that. I felt unsafe because of a domestic dispute outside our room. Not Motels fault.

The location is great and walkable to a lot of shops and dining.

There is no on-site parking. There are curbside loading zones and you can park overnight there after a certain time but you have to move your car before a certain time in the morning. There is a designated lot that is free but it's 2 blocks and down an alley away. It's on the main street of the town and you can hear EVERYTHING, all night long. There are a lot of motorcycles and street racers that are very loud. The place is old, but I expected it to be better than it was. The door to the original room would not work. Had to wait for another room to be cleaned before we could move. We did arrive after check in time. There were 4 of us total and the web site was very misleading regarding the rooms. We ended needing another room to be comfortable. It took over 2 hours to finally get the room situation figured out, because nothing was cleaned. There was only one person that day who could clean. Once we got to our rooms, it was minimally ready. No towels, no toilet paper. The rooms all have their own a/c units that are on their last legs. They are marked with "anything below 68 will cause the unit to freeze and stop". And the unit in our room did not work that well. The bathrooms were very old and very used and not kept well. Housekeeping did not come to our rooms at all. We were there for a family wedding and would have moved to a different hotel but were afraid of the rates for last minute rooms if we tried to move. The web site also shows a restaurant onsite that seems very nice. It hasn't been there since before covid.

Location was great. Staff was great. Cool historical building.

Shower valve in our room was super hard to open and close. Shower valve leaked. No view in our room.

It was a nice historic hotel with friendly staff and was within walking distance of all major attractions in the city.

Some extra maintenance could have been done like extra paint in the lobby and replacing a broken shower head in the bathroom.
