Marketplace Lodge by Whistler Retreats

Fabulous location..we were surprised that it was a part of the marketplace Safe area and great underground parking! A washing machine/dryer was a huge bonus! Good kitchen amenities! great having an air con too! Very clean

Had problems getting into the premises...the lift would not take me to floor 2 without the fob..kept trying to contact whistler retreat at entrance intercom but they kept just opening the door (ended up having a couple of other ppl staying there using their fob to get me to the room to open it) The bed wasn't comfortable at all..no info how to use the TV remotes (all 3 of them)

Location was great. Less than 15 minute walk to Whistler lift base. The view over the playground and ice rink to Whistler mountain was stunning especially at night when the lights were on. Property was comfortable for 2 people. Washing machine and dryer in unit, which was very convenient for our 2 week stay. Staff responded quickly to issues. Would stay again.

Check-in process was complicated and cumbersome. We had a couple of minor but frustrating issues in the first couple of days but the staff responded and resolved quickly. Kitchen was okay but needs to be checked to ensure adequate utensils and glassware, eg. Only 3 wine glasses so when friends came for dinner they had to bring their own wine glasses. Minor but…….

The actual room looks hugely different to the pictures and the description. In the description of the one bathroom unit I reserved, is that there will be a hot tub and fireplace in the unit, even in the picture, there is a hot tub in the balcony. However it doesn’t have it in the actual room.
