location, staff and facilities were all as expected and great. buffet breakfast was top notch as well.

O alojamento está a precisar de uma renovação e o serviço do restaurante piorou muito. Em 2005 era excelente até tinha carne de caça à “lá carte”, agora resume-se a um buffet com pouca variedade.

**Terrible experience. Poor service, old hotel in urgent need of renovation. Meals are poorly served with a significant lack of basic products. The buffet lacks variety and sufficient quantity. Despite the friendliness, the staff has no training. I do not recommend it at all.**

Great location with a fabulous deck overlooking the crocodile river, and lovely spacious accommodation. Each unit is nice and private, with everything you need for a decent night’s rest. Very kindly they make up breakfast packs (sandwich, fruit, juice and a few snacks) so you grab-and-go very early if you are heading into Kruger park for the day. Staff are very kind and welcoming, and make you feel cared for. We’ve a stayed at Pestana few times and will certainly be back again.

Nothing wrong with the restaurant and it is reasonably priced, but could perhaps be even better. We do use the restaurant for convenience especially after a long day’s travelling, but feel the meals lack a bit of ‘wow’ factor. We would have loved to try the Spa but it currently is shut.
