Great location and presentation

No free parking

Rydges is in a great location, room was comfortable albeit a little dated. Staff were lovely. Gym was unavailable when we arrived as it is a gym close by. Pool looked inviting but it was a bit chilly so admired it from afar.

Parking a bit steep at $35. Whilst it was great to have access to a gym. The gym was very dated and in need of an upgrade, saying that it was a big commercial gym with lots of machines.

Great location, room was a good size and comfy.

Advertised streaming services was NOT available. Only option was hiring movies at $35 a night or Chromecast to the TV which didn’t work. Food was good but overpriced.

The staff were a lovely blend of professional and friendly. Super impressed to see a genuine discount for guests who have a 2+ night stay and choose to do their own housekeeping - we enjoyed free coffees and happy hour drinks across several days as a result. The view from our room was wonderful - whatever the weather - and the hotel is within easy reach of everything. Oh and I've not seen such a well stocked mini bar in years.

The chairs in the restaurant and bar area are an incredibly poor design. A relaxed posture is impossible for people of many different heights and sizes.
