Spark by Hilton Cedar City

We have stayed here on and off for over 20 years for the Shakespeare festival, but this will be our last. We had prepaid for our room, checked in and the clerk charged us again, so we had to have a manager credit our account t back the next day. The room smelled musty and old, the TV remote didn’t work multiple times after fixing it, the shower didn’t drain, and housekeeping didn’t make up our room in the three days we were there! They didn’t communicate to us when they would make up the room so we were clueless. The housekeepers talk very loudly in the halls so sleeping in isn’t an option. The hotel is old and it shows! The Bathroom has corrosion on walls, tiles are broken, mirror is dinged up and the tub/shower looks very old and worn. No fridge and no microwave in the room is not conducive to a good customer experience. It’s unfortunate that they don’t have a designated elevator for housekeeping to use so you don’t have to wait for them to get off with their large carts when you’re wanting to use the elevator. The towels feel like sandpaper, and the sheets were clean, but are very starchy feeling. I liked this hotel because it’s not by a main road and you don’t have freeway and traffic noises, but this trip has convinced me I won’t be staying here ever again.

Its clean with easy access from the parking lot area. Staff is so friendly.

Ok hotel

We’ve stayed in Hamptons all over the country & this was the worst. If it hadn’t said “Hampton” on the sign, I never would’ve guessed. Check in was pleasant, however no thanking me for being an Honors member, let alone Diamond. We had to ask for our bottled water. Needs a major reno. The room was not very clean. No refrigerator or microwave. The bathroom was dirty. Used Q-tip under sink, many random hairs. We should’ve called to complain, but had already unpacked. Breakfast was good, however hot items were cold, so stick with yogurt & toast. I’m very disappointed as I’ve been a Hilton member for over 25 years.

Arrived fairly late at night. Didn't have a reservation. The manager had one room, but the lock was broken & it only opened with the master card. She gave me a fair price on the room. I got a good nights sleep. The hotel was quite & I didn't leave until checkout time - noon the next day. Hotel was clean. No problems. Would recommend & stay again. Would recommend reservations in the summer. There are several places to eat & a Walmart nearby.

I requested a roll away bed and had to ask at the front desk. I was told it would be a very tight fit. I booked the room for 5 people so I figured there would be enough beds for 5. Also the shampoo was out and the bathroom floor was dirty.

Location good, staff friendly, rooms nice, little outdated, breakfast good

Unique quaint 2 bedroom with kitchen. It was perfect for out fishing trip. Nearby Panguich lake is a blue ribbon lake with quality fish.
