Great family place! Easy pool and beach access. Staff is stellar! Super accommodating and welcomes you with stuffies for the kids! Smore's at sunset! The pool options are great! Adults only as well as family/kids pool and hot tub. Gorgeous views. Location of the hotel is hard to beat. Healthy dining options, in room dining. 10/10 honestly.

Took a boat ride with Captain Mark. My husband and I had an amazing time and he couldn’t have been more wonderful. It was a cloudy day but was perfect for us. Booking the boat ride with Mark is a must!!

I’m a regular and I recommended all of my friends come to Studio for a birthday dinner because I heard good reviews about the food. However, our server Michael was terrible. We waited at least 35 minutes for our first round of drinks. Our entrees took over an hour and it didn’t come out all at the same time. We ordered a whole chicken and all our entrees and sides got cold waiting for the whole chicken to come. When Michael checked on us 40 minutes after our food was dropped off, he asked “how is everything tasting.” We told him to please just “take the whole chicken off the bill.” He came around 5 minutes later and said “it’s just going to be 8 minutes for the chicken.” Then a server came around and said “I have a half chicken ready” and I had to tell her that we no longer wanted it. They gave us a free round of drinks thankfully after forgetting my friend’s previous drink order for over 30 minutes. Cami the chef turned our whole experience around, up to three stars from our one star experience. Her thoughtful birthday cake made our entire experience more pleasant for all of us. We were sat around 7 pm and ended up finishing dinner around 11 pm. Multiple tables around were seated and had full course dinner and service before we got our last round of drinks. The food was good but overall I would recommend Vea in Newport, Driftwood, The Deck, or any other nice restaurant with a view in Laguna beach rather than Studio. Thankfully the rest of the staff was very pleasant and on top of our water refills

Montage Laguna Beach is the flagship property for the brand and it shows throughout the entire experience. The check in process was smooth and well done. I’ve had plenty of good check in experiences, but what stood out here was how friendly and personable the front desk team was. It didn’t feel scripted. They took the time to walk through everything on property and also gave great recommendations for dining, shopping, and things to do off property, which made a difference. The rooms are stunning. Every room faces the ocean and each one has a private balcony, which really adds to the experience. Sitting out there at night with the sound of the waves is exactly what you want when you are trying to unwind. Dining on property is also a highlight. I ate at a few different spots and each one had its own feel. The Loft is great for a more relaxed setting with amazing views and really solid food. Studio Mediterranean is more of the signature dinner experience with a higher end feel and incredible ocean views. Mosaic Bar and Grille is perfect during the day or by the pool with a more casual vibe and great atmosphere. Even grabbing a drink at the Lobby Lounge is worth it just to take in the view and relax for a bit. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing experience. Between the service, the setting, and the overall feel of the property, it is an easy choice for an oceanfront stay.

The views are amazing but the service is even better. Emilie L. was our server and she was friendly and happy and so kind. She recommended great drinks and told us a little about the area as well. We had a great experience here because of her. She’s a great representative of the restaurant, we will be back to see her!

Just beautiful! The food and the view were so gorgeous. Gelsey and the guest service team took such good care of us! We are still dreaming of the shrimp and the delicious bread!!!

The service blew us away. We were here for the first time for our 5 year wedding anniversary, and we have always known of the beauty of the montage Laguna Beach - that’s a given - but customer service can only be experienced. And wow, our experience was a 10/10. From Asher at the pool service (supremely kind, helpful, genuine and keen attention to detail - we made one comment asking about chair service at the beach for the next day, didn’t even request chairs, and he came back 10 min later with a reservation on the beach the following day. Took the initiative, followed up and made us feel like we were a part of the Montage family). Same goes for Aaron, Ryan and Brandon at the Loft - hospitality and relational touch was so memorable. In fact, we didn’t come in contact with anyone that wasn’t supremely helpful. Tanner at the adults-only pool was attentive, personable and helpful. You can find stunning views in many places, but we will be back to the Montage because of these people.

We have stayed at many luxury resorts around the world, and this was among the very best. The views are awesome. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. Service was professional and friendly. The two hotel restaurants were fabulous.
