Serious wiring issues the place is a fire hazard and clear signs of black mold

Water pressure in shower was excellent. Beds were clean and comfortable.

There were no drinking glasses, no hair dryer and the carpets were so bad you didn’t want to take your shoes off.

It was nice to have extra blankets for the beds, as the single glazed windows let out a fair bit of the heat. It was helpful having the electronic door locks that could be opened remotely by the manager. This was helpful when my partner and I had to split up and she had the key when I returned to the room without it. Helpful to have the managers phone number on the reception door that enabled this.

When we arrived there were still old takeaways, raw meat and a bowl of fried chicken from the previous guests in the fridge. It had obviously been there a couple days, as the bacon was open and discoloured. The fridge had mould spots in it, that had clearly been there for a few days, not a new overnight sort of thing. There were no tea towels until the second night. The shower had looked liked it had been wiped very quickly, but had obviously not been cleaned from within, as once the doors were closed (and you stood inside), there was lots of old hair and grime left along the bottom of the doors&walls. The soap dispenser looked like it had been cleaned from above - poorly, while the underneath portion had been neglected for some time. The outside base of the shower doors was turning green from the neglected soap and body debris. Cracks in the walls in the bathroom. A broken seal on one of the window locks, with a sticky note advising not to use it. One of the stove elements must’ve had something sticky overflow onto it, and was now covered in some sort of black goo. There was an ironic piece of paper blue tacked to the wall above the sink/stove requesting that clean dishes be put away when guests left, however the switch for the oven, wall and stovetop had some sort of food splattered on it when we arrived.

When we arrived tried to shut windows the hinges only hanging on so didn't open windows again. The unit was cold. Spent the first night killing flies. Everything you touched was tacky. Poor house cleaning thick dust on window sills and scerting boards. Electric blanket didn't work. We had stayed at this motel years ago when our house was getting fixed and the manager and the units were very good then but not now. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Would have actually liked some of our money back because of the poor quality.
