Canterbury Court Motel

Very tidy, cleaning service very well mannered, and over all good value for long stays

Location. Size of room. Quiet room (although it's located on a busy road.)

Bathroom wasn't clean. No proper extraction ( had to leave widow open) paint peeling and flaking off ceiling over shower. Old plastic curtain. Door knob off in bathroom, behind door not cleaned. Microwave was filthy and smelly. Bed Lamp and switches coated in dust.

No one at reception on arrival, spoke to staff on the phone were very easy to deal with and polite on the phone

The room was not very clean and was very out dated, It was nothing like the pictures we saw, The shower was extremely low pressure and very dirty and outdated, The soaps provided looked very outdated and old, it was a very cold room only having two small wall panel heaters that didn't do much

It’s not a fancy place but it doesn’t have to be. What they didn’t have in luxury, they made up for with good customer service. The staff were very nice and friendly.

The one thing I didn’t like was the location. It’s right on a fairly busy road and you can only access the property from one direction. It was a slight inconvenience but not something they can fix. Even with this minor problem, it is still pretty easy to access with u-turns possible just I little ways up the road.

It was a roof over our heads and we were toasty and warm lots of storage and the bed was comfy the pillows were nice and fat, not flat like some places, they took the rubbish while we were out. The mink blankets did the trick.

No interaction with reception or anyone from the place, the keys was left on the kitchen bench when I copy there, so i said the same when we left. The wifi/ internet connection thingy, didn't exist my son missed his Disney, but i topped my phone up with more data so he could watch. The sliding door unfortunately made a big screeching noise when you opened it and it woke my son up and a neighbours baby up too.

Was convenient to where we wanted to go too. In Town for the Motor Home Show

The room was old, had a musty smell, was very cold, no extra pillows, stains on carpet. No upkeep on the rooms at all. Catches missing off windows, peeling paint in bathroom skirting boards.
