Clean and comfortable.

The odor

Hotel was OK in terms of appointments (lighting, space, cleanliness....) but several glaring deficiencies that will result in my not returning. Start with the greeting, or lack of, upon check-in. I was greeted with a scowl. "license!", bared the desk clerk. Upon entering my room, the message light was flashing on the phone. I followed the steps provided in a card in the room, to retrieve my message, but got a busy signal. I made the mistake of asking Mr. Nasty who told me he had no idea how to retrieve messages (and obviously could give a damn). This was particularly upsetting as my mom just died and I had left the hotel # with several friends. I spoke to the front desk manager the next morning who said that the message light was flashing in every room due to some kind of a system problem. This had apparently gone on for some time. You would think that the hotel might either try to fix it or at least notify guests (let alone their own help). Finally, the sink was rusted out and did not drain properly. See photo. I brought this all to the attention of the front desk manager the next day who at least expressed some concern. Overall the hotel was fairly nice, good location but I would not stay there based on the above.

Pleasant environment. Great complimentary breakfast. I’m a repeat customer.

We visited family in New Milford, CT. It was convenient and comfortable.

I stayed at this place for 3 nights and my room was never cleaned garbage piled up bathtub was never cleaned DISGUSTING. Please fix this

Nobody was at the front desk when i tried to check in.. had to wait over 30 minutes…
