The George Hotel

The hostess was fabulous. Very friendly and very helpful. We had a midday meal there which was very nice. Cooked well and good price for what we had. We'll worth eating here. Our room was very quirky. Bed was comfortable and plenty of tea/coffee on offer.

We couldn't put the bathroom light on without the light brightening up the whole room which was a bit annoying in the middle of the night. No switch in the bathroom so there was no other choice as you had to walk up stairs to the bathroom. Breakfast was nice but not much. Whilst I had options not to have certain bits of a full English that I didn't want, there was no option to have an extra of something else so I paid the same price for 2 breakfast even though only one had the full amount of items.

Central Pangbourne. Love this hotel we use it twice a year when attending events. Just need somewhere to sleep and its perfect

Basic hotel but nothing to dislike fir the price!

Exactly what was advertised

The room was quirky, but clean. Not much head room.

Room was 'quaint' but comfortable. A provided pedestal fan came in handy. We were just lucky to get the last car parking space. If you know the book "Wind in the Willows", then you will recognise the names on the rooms! We ate at the Italian Restaurant - Cozze - across the road, which was excellent.

Note: car park spaces are limited.
