Best Western Fireside Inn

The Bistro is nice the staff serving in the bistro there are nice, the food was delicious. Breakfast was great.

This is the worst hotel overall that I have ever stayed in. It should be a 1 star not a 3 star. The place is dirty full of bugs and the staff are extremely rude. The place is run down. In the middle of nowhere and feels like it’s not been updated in ten years. It should not be a best western but should be a motel at best. Cathy the manager on the front desk is extremely rude and dismissive to customers and does not want to help in anyway whatsoever. I would personally avoid this hotel. Ignore the fantasy suite reviews these suites are outdated and old just like the rest of the hotel. You’re better off staying downtown on the waterfront for the same price.

While the room was comfortable and breakfast was fairly good, there are a couple of negatives that stood out for me. The biggest one is the lack of an elevator. Our room was on the second floor, and we had to drag our suitcases up a flight of stairs. The hotel itself is very dated, especially the front lobby which was very dark. The location is not great - not much around it and it’s a ten minute drive to the Kingston waterfront. Don’t think we would stay at this hotel again..

Beds are very comfortable, hot breakfast was good, friendly staff.

Het geluid van een elektrisch apparaat buiten her gebouw. Vooral gedurende de nacht.

Dieses etwas in die Jahre gekommene, aber sehr gepflegte Hotel besticht ganz besonders durch seine ausgefallene Ausstattung! 😄 Welche einen in eine vergangene Zeit, je nach gewähltem Zimmer / Suite aber auch in eine „Phantasiewelt“ versetzt (Mondlandung, königliche Suite, Reise nach Asien, …) und in der Bar „Toms Place“ in die Blockhütte eines erfolgreichen Jägers ( ein definitives „must see“ !!!) 🤩
