Casa Amarela

We stayed in two different apartments (at start and end of our holiday). We liked the apartment with access to the garden, as it was cool during the day and the night. However, the top floor apartment had a nice view and balcony. We enjoyed the fresh air in de hot evening. The apartments are nice and have a lot of space. The hosts are friendly and easy to reach. There are two places to eat next door and there is a supermarket nearby. We enjoyed the neighborhood.

The mattresses could be more comfortable. The fans in the bedrooms in the top floor apartment made a lot of noise, but it has to say temperature was high at that time. The air conditioner in the front room worked well!

It was a lovely flat in a lovely building. Quite a high standard of decoration. Jose and Eliana were very helpful and communicated well. It's a bit of a walk to the front but we liked the location overall. Because the flat is at the back of the building, it's very quiet & peaceful.

Because there are only doors leading to the garden and no windows, it was not possible to leave any doors or windows open at night, and there was no air-conditioning. It is therefore a little stuffy at night. There's a very noisy macerator in the ensuite which starts whenever any tap or toilet is used.

Simplemente espectacular! Viajamos con niños y no pudimos elegir mejor: el apartamento tiene absolutamente todo lo que necesitas (hasta trona y lavadora) y la cocina está equipada al detalle. Todo impecablemente limpio y en una ubicación perfecta para descubrir Porto caminando. José es encantador, siempre disponible y dispuesto a ayudar en lo que haga falta. Nos sentimos como en casa. Sin duda, repetiremos en nuestra próxima visita a Porto!
