Fabulous two night stay at Parsons House. This is a characterful, quirky and memorable B&B. David is a wonderful host. Breakfast is exceptional!

Amazing weekend break in the Peak District. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much for our hosts, David was very attentive & knowledgable. Tea & coffee when we needed, breakfast included from local sourced produce. The place was extremely comfortable, clean & we loved the quirkiness of the property, will definitely be back. Very good value for money.

We loved our stay at Parson's House. The whole place had a really interesting, individual vibe and the decor was such a refreshing change from the corporate styling of hotel chains. The breakfast was outstanding, and we really appreciated the local produce. David is an excellent host, always very happy to make a cafetiere of (excellent) coffee at any time, but also sensitive to the privacy of guests. The location of Hartington was delightful, surprisingly well served with very good pubs and a range of local shops. We enjoyed the Dovedale walk of around 3 miles through beautiful countryside and along really good paths. Totally recommend a stay there.. we'll be going back!

David was very welcoming as soon as we arrived, couldn’t do enough for us. He made us a lovely vegan breakfast too. Lovely quirky and interesting house. Unspoiled village and beautiful walks nearby. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay. Thanks David….we will be back.

David the owner is incredibly helpful. His breakfasts are super and he uses local produce. The building is very old18th Century and interesting!
