Das Essen war grässlich.

Loved my stay! The grounds were absolutely stunning- I loved watching the sunset and just wandering around the grounds. While it's outside of town, I never had a problem catching a taxi to or from San Ignacio. My cabin was rustic but very comfortable. Dominic is a wonderful and welcoming host who has thought of everything guests need. Staff were all very friendly. I felt very safe and comfortable here as a solo female traveller. Would 100% stay again!

My entire experience at Nabitunich was fabulous. I arrived quite late in the evening and Dominic was welcoming; he took time to show me around and even provided me with a few snacks from the kitchen. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. My room was cozy and had all that I needed...full refrigerator, kitchen sink, table and chairs, snacks and coffee, and comfy bed. It's located away from town so it's graced by lush greenery, birds, and even howler monkeys in the distance. Magnolia, the farm dog was sweet and slept each night on my patio. I am a solo traveler and felt safe at all times of the day. I enjoyed a walk to Xunantunich (a hidden gem). I picked up some fruit from a produce stand and even found a wonderful bakery in the little village of San Jose Succotz. Dominic was genuinely friendly and interesting to talk with. He recommended Elmer for a Tikal tour. There weren't enough people for the tour so Elmer set me up with another great tour group. Finally, breakfast and dinner were both homemade and excellent. I enjoyed the cooler full of beer and soft drinks that could be accessed 24/7 on an honor system. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was excellent. I didn't like that I wasn't able stay there longer!

Peaceful, beautiful, delicious breakfast and dinner. Walking along the river and to Xunantunich was fun!
