Fireside Inn on Moonstone Beach

Fireplace, huge beds, incredibly clean.

Rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. Comfy mattress and bedding.

Very thin walls. Could hear other guests as well as hospitality team talking.

Our room was great. Patio right out front looking out to the beach. An umbrella would have been a nice addition, The room itself was nice and situated nicely by the pool

Breakfast room was a disappointment. Had no paper plates or anything to put some stuff on to take to your room. Only coffee or tea, no juices, Pool definitely needs some repairs. Said it was heated to 84 but I am sure it was more around 76.

Breakfast OK but thought it’d be a little more substantial and not many places to sit.

Room was very nice and beds were comfortable. Check in time was 4, but the room wasn’t ready until 5, which was disappointing. We also had an oceanfront room booked, and while the view was nice, it was really an obstructed/partial view room. Not a big deal overall, but for paying extra for that, it was disappointing.

The rooms don’t have AC. That should be noted seeing as the coast gets up to the 90s. Our room was nice but all we had to cool down was a broken fan and our neighbors weren’t the quietest. Overall for $400 a night I’d go somewhere else.

The heated pool and the fireplace were nice. Bathroom was cute also. Everything was clean and they did provide some muffin loafs and stuff for breakfast.

The only negative thing was that our patio view was blocked by the parking lot, and the patios were completely open. So no outside privacy at all.
