We had three separate rooms. The rooms were very spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything one could need for a visit. While we opted not to have our rooms serviced/cleaned during our visit, we were situated near the housekeeping laundry facilities, and I had a chance to chat a few times with housekeepers (possibly head housekeeper?), she was absolutely delightful, endlessly cheerful despite the heavy workload (high occupancy during our visit). Front desk staff were very helpful as well. While we ended up going into town for breakfast, the small breakfast at the hotel was nicely done, with something like lemon poundcake loaf. Coffee was good as well and the room was bright and sunny, spotlessly kept.

Overall, we both really enjoyed the Fireside Inn. I was tossing up between this one and another down the street but we loved the large updated room and bathroom and huge bed! It’s also a very short stroll to the ocean and drive to the Main Street of Cambria. I’d stay again!

Nothing - our room was at the back of the property so no views but an upgraded patio room would likely be nice! The ocean is also a very small walk across the street from the property.

Very clean and cute! We had the King room-very spacious, nice bathroom, very comfy bed. Cozy with the fireplace. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location is so close to the ocean.

It was close to everything my little family needed! Short walks to exceptional food , beach views, tide pools , and easy walking trails ! Bonus point the pool is was heated.

The coffee maker in the room didn’t work but was later replaced. The coffee maker in the guest lounge was broken as well. The next day it was fixed.
