It was right in the middle of town, fantastic location! Great staff and nice little breakfast.

There was a bit of dust caked on things and the room key was a finicky, had to swipe multiple times in order for the door to open.

Location and accessibility.

I paid extra to check in earlier. Checkin was 3:00PM. We arrived about 2:00PM. I mentioned that to the front desk clerk, the old lady was EXTREMELY RUDE, like we wanted to take advantage and get the room earlier. Without checking, she said that the room was not ready. I told her she was VERY RUDE. After she checked the reservation, apologized since I was right. This made the visit very UNPLEASANT. I believe I overpaid for a 2 star hotel. This property should NOT advertise they have breakfast. Only coffee and few pastries. They had a very disrespectful sign, “ONLY ONE PASTRY PER PERSON”. After paying over $500.00 for one night we should have had better options and NOT being treated like homeless people. Booking.com did not make things any easier. We planned to stay 2 nights but we had a change of plans in advance and had to change the reservation (very unfriendly online system). Could not do it. The ONLY choice was to cancel it and make a new reservation. I paid for the insurance and I did not get a refund. I called about it and was told that I would get a refund and never happened. Also, I selected the option to pay the property upon checkout and booking.com charged my credit card the night before we arrived. FIRST TIME USING BOOKING.COM AND LAST TIME I AM PLANNING TO USE THIS SERVICE. I should have checked Trivago.com before. They had the same property for almost $200.00 less. A TOTAL FIASCO. Mentioned my experience through social media.
