"“Ridden hard and put up wet.”"

Location and staff - bed was comfortable and clean sheets

Room 101 - No area to hang up clothes (closet poorly converted to area for refrigerator and microwave, but no rods for hanging clothes)- carpet stained (by prior pet?) - ventilation in bathroom via opening window- lamp that did not work - additional floor lamp worked if you read small print, except you needed light to do it - AC would cool room off but needed to get up in the middle of the night to start it up again - furniture looked like old rejects from other rooms - Combination of problems gave me that “icky” feeling.

A deep dive cleaning once in a while would be a huge improvement. The room was dirty the floor unkept the bathroom had stains. on the floor and wall the chair at the desk was broken. The desk was worn scratched severely two queen beds. One was nice. The other was terrible not even the same style one was higher than any other off the floor. Air conditioner ran continuously just to keep the room somewhat cool. The room had no table in it that you could sit at to eat if you chose to order food from the restaurant. We did it was good.

There were 5 flies in the room, dirty floors outlets not working, ac not accurate, only 2 towels for 4 people, charged $30 pet fee, website says $20, pool not filled, lobby mens bath extremely dirty. On positive side bed clean and comfy.

"Great for a short stay"

This is a great stopover or for weekend trips into and around the Trinidad area! The rooms are clean, well maintained and the complimentary breakfast is flavorful and well stocked. Wanted to try the full service restaurant later, but we arrived too late to do so.
