Thankfully the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean.

The room was very shabby. The drapes were hanging off the hook at the window and I saw a bug crawling on the wall immediately after entering the room. Very sloppy paint job and finishing work everywhere.

Price was decent room was clean

Property is aged , the hallways were extremely hot staff was nice

Room was extremely hot upon arrival, took a long time to cool off. Looked like some dried blood on wall by sink. Stepped on a piece of glass on the carpet by the bed that cut my foot. Not very good housekeeping. When we informed the manager upon checkout, all he said was "I'll make note of it".

The location was awesome for location to Kings island. I like that you had a pool and it was working The breakfast was average

The pool was not maintained very well. It should be mopped at night and attention spent to make sure the area around the pool is dried at night. The bathroom in our room was not very clean and really needed an upgrade. More towels should be provided since you have a pool. Needed more shampoo One of the cleaning ladies was rude to me. I was trying to go into my son’s room to turn on the air conditioning and since she was staring out the window when I went over ( door was open) I knocked so as not to startle her. I asked her if I could go in and start the air conditioning. She told me , “you wait!” I am not sure if English is her second language 🤷🏻‍♀️ a young man ( was carrying the new sheets) then came and turned the air conditioning on for me.

The comfort was there, seemed family run so felt good

Overall: The room was relatively clean and comfortable. I appreciate the effort of running this place but it needs updates and more transparency from the management. 1. I mentioned my check-in time via Booking.com to which I got a response from staff that "What you requested can't be arranged ahead of time but Baymont by Wyndham Mason said they'll do their best to accommodate you on arrival" And they ended up asking $40 for early check in (i got no receipt for that, even after asking). Per their policy Check-in time is 4pm, whyy???? 2. Biggest disappointment was the breakfast or lack of it. The description said there will be a ‘continental’ breakfast but not just "Biscuits & Sausage Gravy".
