Richmond Inn & Suites

The front desk was unprofessional. Needed a hotel receipt for a relocation reimbursement. He refused to give me one stating that I purchased the room from Expedia and to get one from them. When I explained that the Expedia invoice is not proof that I actually stayed in his units, he responded that it was too bad and to have the company call him and he would tell them. That's what I get for trying to be frugal and stay in a very "cheapy" establishment.

It's a no frills hotel at a great price.

Needs Major changes

Richmond inn is a lower end motel. It’s old and run down. The towels are old and ragged. There is people hanging out on the walkways “rapping”. The cleaning staff is friendly no issue there. The rooms are low end with sticky carpets and baseboards missing. But it is the cheapest hotel around. Why they charged me $25 a night in taxes and “fees” is beyond me. I firmly believe that most of the reviews are fake because it’s highly rated and positive reviews. It’s not a nice place. But I didn’t get attacked or stabbed so I’m good. Hotels.com need to adjust its ratings.

$50 cash only deposit in case you smoke or trash the room? Bed is uncomfortable

A well run, conscientiously maintained and clean budget motel. Excellent value for the low cost (I'm on a ling distance bike tour, stsying in lots of very budget models. This one is a standout for all the good reasons :)

It was overall a pleasant stay. The facility is an older unit that needs some polish to keep up to eyeball appeal. The room was clean and orderly. The bed was too firm and I like a firm bed. All in all, it was a 55 dollar room for a 55 dollar price.
