Magnuson Copper Crown

Being disabled I was not happy I had a second floor room. It was very difficult for me to get to my room. I always had to have someone in back of me or in front of me in case I was to fall. They also had to take my walker up the stairs when I was going to my room and leaving. Very upset I wasn’t aware of no elevator. Where is the ADA policies that were put in place in 1990 to protect people like me. This policy is in effect for a reason. It’s time to come into compliance.

Bathroom facilities: Shower head was some contraption the went upwards to about 7 feet over tub and was not adjustable. Grab bars are too low, too few. Poor design for any handicapped person. Toilet was a small, cheap fixture too short to be comfortable and water level in the bowl was too high so that my testicles dipped into the water. I'm not liking that at all. The beds were hard to get into as they were too high for short people.

Clean room, friendly staff, very reasonable rate.

Pictures are misleading. This property is very dated. Our bathtub/shower was clogged and didn’t drain so you had to stand in a tub of water while showering. The hot water didn’t even last long enough to finish rinsing the conditioner out of my hair 🥶!

Did not have the breakfast bc we only have coffee in the a.m. So we were happy to have in room coffee available. And the front desk clerk was really great (short blonde woman, sorry I forget her name).

The room itself was very spacious but the carpet could have used either a good cleaning or replacement. It's obviously an older hotel and I'm assuming updates are in the future. But we would stay here again as the price was right.

Great location with amazing staff and proximity to things.
