Best Western Plus Yosemite Gateway Inn

Not the best breakfast but very specious room! A bit dated but fit the overall theme of the hotel. Great pools (indoor and outdoor). Prefect location for Yosemite and Bass Lake.

So we just spent one night here on our way out from Yosemite. We wanted something kind of halfway from the Fresno Airport and our Yosemite Airbnb for the last night. We thought this place was great! The people were super friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were very clean and very nice, when we first arrived we got to our first room and it kind of had a smell of garlic probably from the people before us who ate in there. We hadn't really settled in just yet because we were swimming first but we did let the front desk know and they were super accommodating to switch our room and give us an even better one that was even a bit bigger and nicer! The lobby is adorable and so is the indoor pool building, they both look like a cute Chalet! This place has two pools so it's great if you want to be outside in the sun for that pool but we had had a lot of sun hiking the last few days before that so we were glad to get out of the Sun but still be able to swim and use the indoor pool and hot tub. The location is a really cute spot to because it's in this little touristy town just outside of Yosemite and it has a couple of cute little knick knack souvenir shops and some great restaurants. I would highly recommend that the SmokeHouse 41 down the street. I swear it's the best food we've ever eaten in our lives I'm not even kidding!! And we're from Chicago and we have good food and this stuff was out of this world. I would definitely stay here again I thought it was very reasonable with pricing for the location and friendly service and a clean room and we booked it last minute. If you have time go down the way and visit Bass Lake as well. There are other hotels in the area but they were definitely a bit more expensive and I'm glad we chose this place. It is on the main busy road so during the day it's going to be a bit loud and first thing in the morning but at night the traffic does slow down so you don't really hear that too much. I'm sure it would be the same at any place out there. We were happy I would definitely recommend this place for sure

Much better ease of getting to registration office from roomthat was up a steep hill, and room was on 2nd story.

The restaurant on premises was fantastic! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, but we also had dinner and lunch, bot excellent. The grounds were clean and very well maintained.
