The Moon and Sixpence

Chose the Moon and Sixpence as it was close to Clevedon hall for a wedding we attended. Very straight forward checkin, big spacious room. Everything was clean and room set up was very nice. Breakfast was very good too! Thanks for a lovely stay.

We found the Moon and Sixpence in a very good location in Clevedon. It overlooked the Pier and the seafront. Our room was clean and accommodating with a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom. The hosts were very congenial and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure that we were settled in. The breakfast was excellent. We had problems parking because the pub is extremely popular. Christine and Tony, our hosts, soon sorted us out though. It is a place we recommend and will visit again

The Shower mounting was loose. I slipped off the loose toilet seat and nearly banged my head on the bathroom sink. The door to the bathroom was disgusting. there was brown stains on the mattress protector and very bad damp stains in the bedroom. the room was small and shabby with broken bedside lights. No headboard on the bed, Small television with wires hanging loose. Unable to leave windows open as people up and down alley all night. This location is not any where near the value it charges.

Lovely b&b on the seafront. Hosts were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

No frils, straightforward accommodation which is well situated on the seafront by the pier. Owners and staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, would stay here again if in the area.

Rather tired room with very steep stairs. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Small things would improve the room eg soap holder in shower and a shelf over the hand basin. Friendly and attentive service and generous breakfast.

Walked in with a few of my walking group for women of colour, after an amazing walk from portishead to Clevedon for a well earned, refreshing G&T to be meet with a hostile landlord. To hear, ‘they’re back!’ Is a bit of a shock as we are just members of the public, out to enjoy a quiet drink. No eye contact, no professionalism, whispering to his much nicer bar staff. Face like a sour lemon. Suggest some customer care training to bring this manger up to date with inclusivity and good manners.
