Capitol Plaza Hotel Jefferson City

The hotel stay was pleasant, and the cleanliness of the room was satisfactory, however the hotel could use some updating as it is dated and shows signs of its age. The bathroom toilet is too low and does not provide comfort for older guests. A big surprise is if a guest books online (i.e., hotel.com, affirm, etc.) they do not get a complimentary breakfast instead the breakfast will cost $15 which consists of pancakes, eggs, sausage and potatoes and limited yogurt, fruit, two juice selections and coffee and no sweeteners creamer selections. Despite the shortcomings the stay is satisfactory.

I love the layout of this hotel. It brought back memories of the sixties. However, the hotel is in need of a makeover. The air conditioning system actually looked like it was built in the sixties.

I have stayed here many times and its been great. But here lately it seems like every time I have stayed, there is something else wrong. The furniture is out of date and in the room we had, there was broken furniture. On our second night the power went out and never came back on before we left. I have to use a CPAP when I sleep and was not able to sleep due to no power.

Such a nice hotel and the stuff was so kind ! There was a slight problem with the keyboard for the pool but thats no biggie the staff was super helpful ! They had a great breakfast choice and was very clean ! I will be back to stay agian 🙂 thank you for the great stay 🙏🏻

Hotel room was dirty. Had to pay extra just to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The tv stopped working the 2nd night so was moved to another room. Had to pay for parking. Hotel needs updated!!

Nice stay, helpful staff. Wish pillows were bigger though.

Seemed like a hotel that had seen its prime. Only one garbage can and two large bath towels. Coffee maker not very good. Restaurant: ate breakfast there but chef was server and brought us a pot of tea not coffee. Power went out for several hours during a thunderstorm. Very large hotel but seemed kinda empty. However convent location to downtown and beds comfortable.

Shocking!!!! AC leaking onto bed! No fridge, no breakfast, no WiFi come On guys. Maintenance man and head of reception said management doesn’t repair stuff and don’t care about leaks And the roofs. Bartender didn’t know if they do bfast and front desk had no idea

A classic hotel. Clean and quiet. Friendly staff.

Extremely outdated, super cheap pillows (they don’t even have king size pillows for their king rooms) and it gives off an unclean vibe because of how outdated it is but honestly it was a fine stay. Overpriced for sure though.
