Convenient location. Friendly staff. Hotel and rooms extremely dated. Room smells like smoking was once allowed here. Needs fresh paint and a deep cleaning.

The service was slow in the bar/restaurant, very slow. At least the waiter was friendly. The room was ok. Until the bathroom. The door wouldn't shut, because it was ready to fall off. There was cold water standing in the tub. And the shower didn't work. After a lot of work, my husband got a pencil stream of water. The decor of the room was older, but looked good. It was just not kept up in the bathroom.

Our Convention based our experience at the Capital City Hotel. There are things about the rooms that could improve, but they are comfortable and roomy. The staff is, without parallel, the most welcoming and accommodating that we have dealt with. Each member did their best to make sure we had what we needed just about the minute we asked for it. This place is a gem that will only improve with time based solely on the personnel they have in place.

The property was quiet, the room was perfect and best of all very clean. Thanks keep it up.

It was not good. The counter check-in person was very odd, and the front doors were locked, and we had to enter thru a narrow handicap ramp door. Also, we paid for our room at your hotel and not once was it mentioned that there was a charge for parking. It wasn't until we checked out and received our bill that we saw parking was $10. Why would I have to pay for parking at a hotel I already paid for to stay at. That is very poor service and hidden fees. Also, elevators were broken, and the A/C wouldn't turn down. We will not be staying at your hotel again due to dishonesty and hidden fees.

Room 1. black mold in the shower. Room 2. air conditioner didn't work. Room 3. okay but only a queen bed when I reserved a king.

Air conditioning was out and kept getting warmer as night went on, very miserable. Even tried another room but realized it was entire hotel. Bedding looked as if it was reused and just straightened up ( all wrinkled ). Older hotel that has not been kept up, mold on grout in bath, carpeting smelled moldy, chipped paint on walls in hallway, dirty parking lot, wore out finish on desk (room 422), section of counter on bathroom vanity missing. Talked to front desk in person several times , sympathetic but obviously not able to resolve problems in middle of night…. Desk clerk was waiting for day shift personnel to come in.. I will never stay here again and will not recommend to anyone. I strongly feel we should be reimbursed for the 2 rooms we paid for that evening. Then to top it off, the restaurant was not even open in the morning…which made it extremely inconvenient due to location and no place close by.
