Capitol Plaza Hotel Jefferson City

PLEASE DO NOT WALK … BUT RUN FROM THIS DUMP OF A HOTEL!!!! My stay was an absolute nightmare and this undercover motel needs to be studied and shut down. 0/10 stars. The bed was covered in disgusting urine stains, the shower spewed out a red/brown substance when I turned it on, and the ceiling was leaking so badly that part of my room was soaked. The entire place was a sloppy coverup that looked nothing like the pictures they advertise. LOOK AT THOSE WALLS? please don’t even get me started again OMG! This is a blatant disregard for guest hygiene, and they should be absolutely ashamed. I will be posting this everyday until you can’t see nobody but me! I NEED MY $$$$ BACK!!

Proximity to the state offices are the best thing about this hotel.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and plenty of hot water in the shower. The meeting rooms were a comfortable temperature.

The hotel, though dated was improved over the last time we stayed. Our room was clean and everything functioned as it should. Staff seemed better than last stay as well. The only unexpected negative was a new $10 per day parking fee. This is not something we have ever experienced here and something you might expect in a large city like Chicago (not Jefferson City). It seems like a backhanded money grab.

The only problem I had is there was no breakfast?

I had a fun time visiting Jefferson City and part of it was this hotel. Centrally located, very comfortable, and just what we needed. The restaurant was great in the evening and breakfast in the morning was terrific. Staff was friendly. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. We had everything we needed. Plus the cost was reasonable.

Dated and in need of total renovation. Understaffed. Breakfast buffet was mediocre at best and everything is SALTY! Dinner decent. Only two guest elevators for a nine-story hotel and one of them out of service for hours.
