Americas Best Value Inn Grenada

People were absolutely the rudest. They said we could check in after midnight but when we got there the doors were locked and we had to sleep in the truck after we already paid for a room. But after talking to other people staying there I’m thankful cause they said the rooms were nasty.

Some lighting needs to be fixed. Hair dryer is missing. Hot breakfast is quite good.

The staff was nice. Even so I feel it's my duty to share my experience... There were bed bugs. My first and hopefully last experience. The staff tried to give me another room but I was just too scared to get infected even staying at a different room. $50 was over priced even without bed bugs there was a reclining chair in the room that was broken. Again the staff was nice and have me refund. They would do well renovating the place and serious cleaning.

This hotel needs alot of work or torn down and rebuilt..the room had a old tv in it,paint was coming off the wall, the bathroom tub was dirty and a ring around it like it never been cleaned the refrigerator was old as hell, the woman at the front dest was really rude. this one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed in..please go somewhere do not stay here.

Disappointing at best, but considering rate, I guess one gets what they pay for. Until this stay, my perception was tha ABVI were older facilities that were quickly refurbished to ABVI standards. So it was both surprising and disappointing to be told that the Grenada facility had been under the ABVI banner for about 5 yrs!! It was well below the minimum quality I was expecting for an ABVI branded facility.

It was below my expectations,mattress was sunk in the middle. Front entrance door was nasty and needed painting. I start about a hour left ,went to another local hotel. Needless to say I blow my earnings on that deal of a hotel.

Reception was not friendly. Room was in bad shape, ligjts, tv and fridge we're not plugged in. Bed covers appeared stained and dungie. It was not a good experience.

Evening desk clerk efficient but very unfriendly. After further thinking, thought she possibly might have had a toothache judging the way she kept her hand over her mouth. Morning desk clerk very nice. For the price, it was okay.

I checked in and went to my king non-smoking to find ashes in the floor in the bathroom. The bed sheets were clean but the room had been given maybe a 2 minute house keeping. There is no phone in the room to contact front desk and cold outside, so I grabbed my own pillow and blanket to settle in for the night because of my little Shihtzu and not wanting to take a chance of no sleeping quarters. The staff was very nice and apologetic this morning. The restaurant this morning served half cooked cold grits but the waitress very willingly plopped them in the microwave. I would like to give 2 stars because of the staff but the rooms are so run down with broken tiles, curtains, dirty rugs, and tables that I am unable to do this. 1/2- 1 Star is it.
