Maison Saint-Vincent

We totally enjoyed our stay. Apartment perfect, location perfect, Montreal perfect. Everything that we needed was in the apartment. Great coffee shop just around the corner, fabulous bars & restaurants also. We had read that bar Bisou Bisou which was below our apartment may be noisy…didn’t even hear it but certainly enjoyed a drink down there. The croissants for guests every morning were a really nice touch too. Communication with management was excellent. Highly recommended.

First the positives- the hotel is close to restaurants, sights and well positioned. Accommodation is clean, and although managed remotely, response times are good and proactive to check all is OK. There were some challenges with the stairs and we found use of the communal kitchen noisy at some points. The accommodation is looking tired and paintwork could do with a freshen up.

Clean and beautiful hotel. Amazing location. Self check-in was easy and concierge was always available for questions.

The apartment was perfectly located on a side street in Old Montreal. It was quiet and secluded. Spacious and comfortable. Communication was great and access was easy. I highly recommend it.

The room was neat and cute. The cofee was great. Only the bedding was old and ripped off a bit. Did not give me the feeling of freshness. The front desk was never present I only saw a lady once. But overall I will choose this little boutique hotel again. Thank You.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Maison Saint-Vincent, a modern and surprisingly spacious hotel located right in the heart of the Old Port district. It’s a “low human touch” kind of place – no front desk or staff hovering around – but they do an excellent job of communicating with guests via text to check in and make sure everything is going smoothly. A day before you arrive, you'll be sent a door code as well as a code to enter your room. This all worked flawlessly for us. We ran into one issue with the shower producing only very hot water. The hotel was quick to respond the next day, sending both a repair person and a manager to resolve it, which we really appreciated. While it’s not a bed and breakfast, they do provide a delicious croissant each morning. Pair that with coffee or tea from your in-room mini kitchen setup and you’ve got an easy, satisfying breakfast before heading out. Some reviews mention street noise from garbage or service trucks, but we didn’t find it to be a problem – especially with a room facing Rue Saint-Vincent. I can't speak for the windows facing the restaurants . Worth noting: there are no elevators, so you’ll need to haul your bags up a flight or two of stairs (though the hotel will assist if needed). If you’re checking out but staying in the city longer, luggage storage is available on the 3rd floor near the washer machines. The only downside for us wasn’t the hotel itself but the location. Old Port is beautiful and worth visiting, but it’s very tourist-heavy, which can make things like catching an Uber more of a hassle. If we did it again, we’d probably stay in a different neighborhood. That said, if you want to be right in the Old Port, I would absolutely recommend Maison Saint-Vincent as a comfortable and stylish base.

Great location and lovely room with comfy bed. Only drawback is having to drag heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs but that's what you get for a gorgeous old building!

The location is beyond compare. Even being located in the heart of wonderful streets of Old Montreal, the accommodations were quiet, spacious and cozy. We had a wonderful stay!
