Cresta Court Hotel

Starting with the positives, every member of staff we encountered was exceptionally helpful and great to deal with. The restaurant food was very good, and although the dinner menu was unimaginative, everything was beautifully cooked and good to eat. Breakfast was also lovely. However, the hotel had a bit of a tired feel overall and the room we stayed in could do with a refurb. Having said this, the beds were comfortable and the room was a good temperature. Special mention for the shower - hot and powerful! Overall, a pleasant two night’s stay, only let down by aesthetics and decor.

Pleasant bar and restaurant area. Shower pump noisy and could not get water beyond warm; sink hot water was hot so shower related. Having window open can be noisy with passing traffic.

There is no mixer (tap) for the basin so I have to turn on both the hot water and cold water taps at same time to wash my face/hands where temperature is below 10deg in the morning. There are no separate shower area and no grab bars convenient to guest when getting in and out if bathtub after showering. A safety risk here.

Needs morr towels and enough toiletries per person had one set of towels for 3 and one shampoo for 3. Not rnough milk and tea etcfor 3 and only one glass in bayhroom and 2 cups.

Hotel is tired and needs a revamp but ok just for a night

Restaurant was first class and room was spotless also.

Great value for money

No hot water for one night, couldn’t charge food and drink to room with out paying separately, very very dated. Staff are fantastic and the only way this place stays open.
