La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham DC Metro Capital Beltway

The staff was great, responding quickly and professionally to my inquiries.

The exterior of the property detracted from the overall experience. The grass and surrounding grounds were littered with animal droppings and trash, which gives the impression that the area is not well-maintained.

Thin walls so could hear unpleasant things every night, broken bathroom door, tv didn't work, charged me a 100$ deposit unexpectedly, expensive, sparse and dirty breakfast area, stinky slow elevator, dirty carpets in halls, scuff marks and patched holes in walls. Chipped paint, spots on towels, spots on bedding, window wasn't clean, dusty furniture, filthy shower curtain and door handle. Noisy people in the mornings, Wouldn't stay here again if someone paid me to do so. I was not happy. :(

The breakfast was good. The staff was nice.

I was upset about the room. Some furniture is in urgent need of replacement or renovation.
