Wayfinder Newport

When we checked in, Shelly at the front desk was so welcoming and kind. Everything went smoothly and quickly. The room was very spacious and clean and close to everything we needed.

This hotel is a gem. It's chic and clean, but old. It smelled old in the hallways and elevator. The rooms are very clean and smell fine. Being a boutique hotel, a signature fragrance throughout would take this place to the next level! They could also use furniture and decor on the hotel's different floors. It felt a bit isolated once I stepped out of the elevator onto my floor. I checked in at 1:30 am, and the two men working the front desk made me feel comfortable and safe. The desk staff on the day shift went above and beyond to provide me with information about Newport. They also helped us by storing our luggage so we could eat at the restaurant after checking out. The restaurant was amazing!! I ate there for breakfast one morning and again for lunch the next day. The food was exceptional! I was shocked it wasn't buiser than it was. It's the best-kept secret! The wait staff was great! The bartender working the PM shift was so friendly and knowledgeable about Newport. His drinks were delicious, and it was a great time.

No indoor pool

Spent a night here while in Newport for a family reunion and everybody really liked it. The restaurant is good, the rooms are clean and very comfortable, and they were even nice enough to give us an upgrade (which was great because we have a new baby)! Definitely recommend.

Great location, right off of major highway and only 10 minutes to the center of Newport. Staff were very friendly, rooms were comfortable except there was no drawer space or closet. Great for a short stay.

There could have been a drawer for clothes instead of living out of a suitcase.

Fantastic all around. I highly recommend and will definitely be back. The rooms are perfect & the staff is wonderful. Every detail of the hotel and room are perfect.

The hotel was conveniently located about a mile from downtown shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating. The restaurant was above average and served quality food. The restaurant staff were excellent.
