Driving to it and finding the parking lot. Streets are narrow in Vancouver, and the parking lot is up an ally behind the hotel.

Location was fantastic. You're basically right at the sea. Two minutes walk and you're at the beach. You can have a wonderful steak at the Cactus Cafe Club while enjoying the sea view. If you go out of the Hotel and turn right, there are a variety of cuisines and Cafe's nearby as well as Liquor stores. If you turn left, You can find Safe way and Drug World in a walking distance. If you wish to visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge, the concierge can help you. You might even get a %5 discount voucher from them. If you wish to get on the shuttle bus to Capilano, it takes you 40 minutes on foot to Canada Place (the first stop), or 20 minutes to Blue Horizon Hotel (the second stop). You should book your ticket online beforehand, but do not need to present it in order to get on the Shuttle.

Nothing really. The reception is rather small and nothing fancy, the water feature was broken, but the staff were very polite and helpful. There's a restaurant with very friendly staff, who are happy to help you as you enter.

Needed somewhere for a night near downtown Vancouver and at reasonable price and this fitted the bill. Not the prettiest place and could do with a revamp outside and in bar but staff friendly and room was clean and well provisioned. Air con was ancient and deafening but we didn’t need it. We were happy with what we got and location but maybe wouldn’t be our choice for more than a night.
