Travelodge by Wyndham Rapid City

location was close to Dr appointment.

Staff was not very cooperative. The ad stated that there would be 4 free bottles of water for the room. They said it was available for purchase from the vending machine, but the bottles in the lobby were for hotel staff only. There were only two pillows for a king bed, and two towels. when I asked for more towels, I was told I needed to bring two back first. I stated that I hadn't used any yet, but two towels were not adequate. I was given the towels, but sad that I had to ask. The room was not very clean, and there was a gap in the front door you could see light through. The threshold to the bathroom was disgustingly poorly done, Not what I would have expected from any Windham property. The walls were thin, and we listened to the neighbors both nights.

That you can drive up to room door. Even though on a main street the location is very quiet

Very noisy, people cooking outside rooms , beer boxes filling trash cans

There were no positives

People were passed out on the bed of the room they gave us.

There was no breakfast. I look like there may have been a coffee service up in the corner

I was injured. Copious amounts of blood everywhere. No guard on the blow dryer and the tip of my finger was cut, stabbed, sliced. We cleaned up most of the blood. There may still be drops on the ceiling and the door. A nurse at the hospital cleaned the wound and I am on an anabiotic. A tetanus shot is in the future. We should be compensated for this

Outlets on wall did not work in my room, so no TV, microwave, fridge, or desk lamp did not work. Staff on hand could not comprehend enough to help.

Would not stay here again. Room was overpriced for it's condition. It was adequate but blankets were old, hornets in the windows, breakfast eggs were cold. Lobby, buildings and vending machines need upgrading. Has the Wyndham name attached, but as a member the corporate name does not reflect their usual quality.
