La Maison des Armateurs

The hotel is in the walled city, so very central for all that St Malo Intra Muros has to offer. There is parking in a below ground car park, which is unusual for this part of ST Malo. The rooms are equipped with all that you need for a short stay and the bathroom products are high quality. The breakfast is beautiful, comprising local products - breads, pastries, cheeses, yoghurt etc with fruit and hot options of meat sausages and eggs. It’s plentiful but with some limitations for people with specific diets.

There was nothing to dislike but two observations are worth making: the threshold between bedroom and bathroom was evil and I managed to cut a toe on it and, should you want a nightcap, drinks in the bar are pricey.

The location, the cleanliness, the staff, the breakfast. Everything really. The water and the snacks were a really nice touch.

We loved everyone about this property. There is parking just outside the gates and it’s very near the hotel. The location is fab! And the rooms were very comfortable. The staff was according!!
