Wyndham Garden North Bergen - Secaucus

Very disappointing experience due to poor communication and lack of accountability. I had a reservation from Jan 27–29, but my flight was canceled due to weather. I called the hotel immediately and was told by the front desk (after speaking with the GM) that my stay was moved to Jan 28–30 and that I didn’t need to do anything further. When I checked in on the 28th, no one told me my stay would still end on the 29th. Then, while I was at work on the 29th, I received a call saying I had to check out immediately or book another night. I explained everything and even contacted the GM, but she refused to acknowledge the earlier approval. I was told to either pay a late checkout fee or make a new reservation. I had no choice but to rebook. This experience reflects serious gaps in internal communication and customer care. Guests should not be penalized for mistakes made by hotel staff. Management’s unwillingness to resolve this fairly was extremely disappointing. As a Wyndham Diamond member, I expected better customer service. This situation was stressful, unnecessary, and completely avoidable. Until management improves communication and takes responsibility for their staff’s mistakes, I would be hesitant to stay here again.

Elegí una habitación adaptada para persona con discapacidad y me gustó que el baño es muy amplio, lo que nos permitió mover la silla de ruedas cómodamente. Las camas cómodas y el servicio que recibí fue muy bueno. Pedí apoyo porque olvidé un objeto después del check out y en front desk me ayudaron a enviarlo por uber. Gracias!

Que no pude modificar la calefacción

Breakfast wasn’t anything special. It technically wasn’t included with the hotel, but it was the only option available. There were some waffles, toasted bread, and you could get scrambled eggs and a dessert. For a breakfast buffet it wasn’t particularly good, so I only used it once. After that I bought breakfast at the supermarket. The free shuttle service was also a disaster. I arrived on Saturday evening at 10:00 PM and immediately tried to contact the hotel in every possible way: via Booking.com, via the chat button on their website, by calling the same phone number, by emailing the front desk, and by calling another number which was only answered on the second attempt. By the time I finally reached someone, it was a few minutes after midnight and I was simply told that they don’t do pick-ups after 12:00 AM. In addition, no one at the airport could tell me where “P3” was supposed to be (their pick-up location). The hotel should communicate much more clearly that you first need to take the AirTrain, etc. In the end I had no choice but to take a taxi for $80 for a 20-minute ride. I tried to get reimbursed by the hotel manager (Heena), but she was not willing to do so. Overall, the hotel itself is fine, but in my case the service was poor.

Konaklamam sırasında otelde birden fazla kez elektrik ve su kesintisi yaşandı. Bu durum hem konforumu hem de iş planlarımı ciddi şekilde etkiledi. Çıkış günü için söz verilen geç çıkış izni uygulanmadı ve rahatsız edici şekilde birden fazla kez gizli numaralardan arandım gizli diye açmadığım megersem otelmiş. Ayrıca oda kapısında ciddi bir güvenlik sorunu vardı ve bildirmeme rağmen çözülmedi. Yaşadığım bu problemler nedeniyle otelden memnun kalmadım.

I don't recommend this motel

the restaurant listed doesn't exist. there is no shuttle service. the security deposit at check in for the nasty motel is $200.
