Mystic River Hotel & Suites Near Casinos

Dying property. From main road no signage that place was open. Closed restaurant. Staff was pleasant. Room was nice; no complaints. It took me over an hour to find the place as the motel looked abandoned from the highway. After one day have yet to receive via e-mail receipt of stay.

From the outside, it looked the the place was not even open. Doors to the lobby were broke. No staff at front when we entered and had to wait over 15 minutes for someone to show up. Pool was closed, permanently. No safety latch on door to room. Bathroom had hair in the tubs.

Bed was so bad can’t sleep. Light was broken microwave was not working. Price was higher then they show in the website

I had reached out prior to arrival to let them know we would arrive very late. Upon arrival our room had been given away and we were assigned a different room. There were 5 of us and only two double beds. The clerk was very apologetic and got manager on phone who ended up yelling and screaming as well as threatening to call the police all because we requested refund. No way could we have stayed so we left with a child in tow and found another hotel. This is actually the second incident I have experienced in bad service since I have booked through Expedia and unfortunately twice within 2 years. Would not recommend this hotel as there needs to be much improvement to the property and management.

People gathering in the unlit areas of parking lot and around the premises late at night upon arrival. Staff unwilling to issue refund even though I refused to stay. Do not trust photos on website, the property is gross. Please read other reviews before booking. THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK.

The rooms were clean. The property was quiet, beds were comfortable and close to all attractions. Couldn’t beat the price. Outdated and pool was broken but again. Couldn’t beat the price.

The hotel needs serious upkeep. The pool was closed and judging by the roof, it was easy to see why as chunks of the roof were coming off and moss was coming off the fascia. The room had not been vacuumed in I’m not sure how long and the bathroom door had patches all over it from something! There was no cable and the mattress was on a metal military style bunk-no box spring. There was also no elevator so we had to carry our luggage. Lastly, there was no pack-n-play for our youngest guest!!!

It is coming back!! Place was clean and personnel was amazing!! We will stay there sgain
