Red Lion Inn & Suites Saint Louis

They are tearing out the 270 on/off ramps literally 20 feet from the guest rooms. The construction was 24/7. No sleep as they break up concrete at 2am and have bulldozers running back forth at 3am. Beep Beep Beep. They should definitely have a notice when booking that there will be construction all night long right outside your window. You WILL hear it and you WILL feel it. What you wont do is sleep.

“Deposit” that was not supposed to be charged according to Expedia. Bed sheets had nasty stains, no actual blankets. (Only sheets) Only two VERY thin pillows per bed. Very BRIGHT landscape light shined right in window, even with curtain closed it was bright. Came prepared to swim with kids, only to find out pool was “out of service”. Only good thing was the A/C. Will NEVER stay here again! With the deposit, I would have stayed in the middle of St. Louis cheaper!

I stayed here for three days during a conference. And boy was that a bad choice. They are tearing up the cloverleaf on 270 literally 20ft from the hotel. And they are working 24/7. If you love construction equipment and don’t need a lot of sleep this is your place. Feel your bed vibrate at midnight as they break up the concrete. Wave to the excavator at 2am as it drops tons of broken concrete into a stream of dump trucks (bang!). And at 4am dance to the beat of the back up horn on the bulldozer as it drives back and forth past your window. There should definitely be a construction notice on the hotels booking page but alas, there is not. Heed my warning. The staff were friendly and the room, while minimalistic, was fine. It would have been a good budget stay if not for the construction hell.

I don't know who the uncle of the desk clerk is, but the desk clerk told me the motorcycle parked adjacent to the front door belonged to his uncle. The motorcycle was very close to the front entry/exit and assuming it had any gas in its tank it was an emergency exit fire hazard!

Both people I interacted with at the front desk were very kind and helpful. I did not see an elevator anywhere, but maybe we missed it. The heat was on full blast when we entered our room even though it was 90 degrees outside which was pretty uncomfortable and frustrating at first, however the room cooled down quickly with the AC. Each bed only had two pillows and they were small and flat so be sure to bring your own. The free breakfast was tasty and the room was clean and generally comfortable, overall this was a good experience for the price.

Well, the room was nice. The blankets were insuffiecient (more like sheets). However, i had a guest who was extremely "noisy". Room Next door only banged on wall 1 time after a long duration. But, it was all 😎

The air barely work and it made terrible noise . We wait 10 min for someone to come check in bc they watching tv and eat in the back instead of coming up! The bathroom had some suspicious holes in the tube! The bathroom an odder, the beds were not comfy
