TownePlace Suites by Marriott Gainesville

Large room with freezer,fridge and microwave.2 large comfortable beds.Clean room. There were also apportunites to wash and dry clothes. Good location at the hotel with serval good restaurants within walking distance. In conclusion,I was very satisfied with my three - week stay. Johan.

All the staff was amazing and welcoming! Barb at check in is fantastic! The rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was hot and fresh and someone near by to refill if food or coffee was getting low. Great place, wonderful staff, will definitely be back!

Marriott properties are reliable because Marriott sets high standards. This location falls short. We have stayed at three other TownPlace Suites this year in Georgia, Tennessee, and Ohio— all of which were excellent. This one isn’t. The manager seems more concerned with paperwork than with providing good service. The hotel was mostly vacant yet we were given a room next to the service closet and could hear the door opening and closing throughout the night. The floor was dirty; a dirty dish towel in the kitchen; hair in shower; toilet seat broken; shower gel container was nearly empty. At other locations, fresh cookies greet guests. Here, there was a stack of bruised bananas. One bright spot was the breakfast and friendly host. This location simply isn’t up to par.

Our ove-all stayed was great. Im not a people that complain unless it something that cant ve over looked. With that being said the room were great to us. The only things that stood out were. The shower need to have doors that will close all the way. 1. The floor gets very wet because it only have one side close. 2. The couch were very comfortable be there was dust on tge head rest pillow. Otherwise our stay was great.

We did not have the breakfast but it looked good.

Everything was better than expected.

This was the one of the best home away from home place I've stayed in a long time. Bedding was great, friendly service Anda hot, delicious breakfast from Juanita! Felt like inwas at home. Thank you.

The staff was superb! When i first checked in, a dog was barking in the room next door and the female at the front desk wasted no time in finding me another room. Juanita was always there in the morning with a warm smile and a good morning. I believe it was day 3 or 4 and my room needed a little cleaning. Diane & her team were right on it after i briefly mentioned this to her!

Someone opened my hotel room door at 4am. The manager has still not called me back to investigate or get the information. But the hotel was nice and clean.
