Achmore Self catering

Perfect location for exploring Skye and environs. House was very comfortable and hosts were knowledgeable and did everything possible to make our trip a memorable one - which it certainly was!

The view was absolutely stunning! It was easy to find, rural, and very homey. All the amenities you would need in a self-catering were provided for. I also enjoyed the maps and information desks, they came in super handy!

This isn’t a dislike but something to be aware of for future visitors who may not know what living rural means, which is planning. It is rural, so getting gas and groceries is a wee bit of a drive. I live in a rural town back home, so i am used to having to plan accordingly.

Location was fantastic for what we needed. The hosts Ina was great and met us on arrival. The accommodation it's self consisted of two en suite double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms with shared bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, outside balcony and plenty of parking. It was clean and warm and plenty of tea, coffee and cooking facilities.

Everything about the place, the welcome, hospitality all outstanding. Facilities on offer, teas, coffee, dram, no worries about heating, hot water, all excellent

The hosts were lovely, the house was really big and accommodating. The view was also amazing.

Property was well equipped and cosy, chosen for self-catering as 3 of our party of 5 require GF diet. Location was quiet with fine rural views and a good base for touring. Friendly hosts live upstairs.

Our stay met our expectations, the welcome was warm, the room and beds were good and the house was attractive and fully equipped. The owners who stayed in the same house were very helpful and very nice. This house is a recommendation for anyone who wants to book an overnight stay or a stay in the area.

Location is remote which we expected.

Parking was difficult for motorbikes but ok for cars.
