Best Western Cattle City Motor Inn

The room was clean and tidy.

The meal on Friday night was not good. The steak was extremely tough, steak knives may have helped.

Very comfortable, clean and good size room. Having the restaurant on site was serving excellent meals was good. Great service will be coming back again.

As my wife has mobility issues and uses a shower chair when showering, a flexible shower hose rather than a fixed shower head would have been preferred.

The Best Western name and the photos drew us there.

The ‘Deluxe King Room’ felt more like a dungeon than a deluxe room. Dated, old, budget and not to the Best Western standard. Definitely not how the photos showed on the Booking website.

Location was handy, comfortable bed.

Parking was inconvenient, too small and unallocated so people were parked in the space Infront of my room, forcing me to park at the opposite end to my room.

I wasn't given my complimentary breakfast, was given an order sheet and said I had to pay extra

Met our needs for a stopover mid long road trip.

It was in a good location

Got to reception just to be told that our booking on their system was for the next day which I booked for 22nd May, and they had in their system for the 23nd of may and then got told they wouldn’t be able to let us stay because they were fully booked out. I had shown them the confirmation email which was correct for staying on the 22nd of may… so I think bookings.com and the motel we stayed at didn’t confirm the booking in their system. The receptionist also told us to cancel our booking and when it came through to them they would cancel the booking so we could get a refund. At this point we were looking for a new accommodation but the whole town was booked out! Which then the receptionist came back to us and said we have cancelled one of our guest room for us to stay there. So I’m sorry to whoever’s room that was…. It definitely wasn’t the room i paid for! Just thought id bring it up as in future booking its very inconvenient for people that don’t have a back up plan for other accommodation. Thanks Grace
