Hotel Khiva Palace

Convenient location. Clean, well-appointed rooms and good breakfast buffet.

Strangely, the hotel offered an airport shuttle on arrival for $20. When I booked a return shuttle during the stay, I was told the cost was $30 with $10 payable (without receipt) on the spot! The remaining $20 was to be paid to the driver. $30 might seem fair, but given the price of taxis locally, and we used quite a few, I felt a little taken advantage of. I didn't see the point of questioning and paid the extra $10. Hope it was well spent! Given the number of hotels in Khiva, if I visit again, I will not stay at the Hotel Khiva Palace.

Very friendly staff. Room is spacious and clean. Near the train station. So if you have luggage, this is the perfect place to stay. 15mins walk to the tourist attractions.

Very good experience. The hotel garden is very pleasant. The communication with the staff is also very good.

Room size,location,breakfast. Very near to Ichan Qala east gate.Several quality eateries in close proximity.

Had to use Google translator most of the time with some staff members
